Fresh Ravioli Workshop

Learn how to make fresh ravioli with Flaming Bag Catering in this hands-on workshop at the Broome County Regional Farmers Market Commercial Kitchen on Wednesday, May 29th from 5:30pm to 7:30pm.

You will learn the essentials of making an easy, egg-based pasta dough, how to sheet the dough and how to cut it into ricotta-filled ravioli. We will review ingredients, tips & tricks during the mixing and sheeting steps, and learn about the endless possibilities you can make from a pasta sheet. You will go home with fresh-made raviolis, sheeted and unsheeted pasta dough, and a recipe.

Class will include:

  1. Ingredients for the dough.
  2. Ingredients for the ravioli filling.
  3. Methods for sheeting the pasta.
  4. Tips and tricks to fix your dough during mixing and sheeting steps.
  5. The best dough thickness for the pasta you’re making.
  6. Methods for making ravioli.
  7. Filling and cutting ravioli.
  8. The endless possibilities of ravioli filling.
  9. The endless possibilities of pasta you can make from a pasta sheet.

All attendees must wear closed-toed shoes in order to participate. 

Participants are welcome to bring their own wine or beverage of choice to enjoy.

Tickets are $50 per person. Tickets may only be purchased directly from the CCE Broome County Shopify page. Personal sales and resales are not permitted or honored. 

All attendees must bring proof of their registration to the workshop. This includes providing your "Order Number" or "Confirmation Code" received upon purchasing your ticket through Shopify. This will be required to participate in the workshop, so please ensure you have this information prepared beforehand.

Refunds are granted if we are notified at least 72 hours in advance that you cannot attend.
